This firm was extremlt helpful and considerate. Got to my case quickly and received more compensation than I thought possible. Thank god for this attorney.

RUN, DON'T WALK FROM THIS FIRM

Eight months ago, I was told by this firm they would file a lawsuit against the person and the company this person works for for a hit and run that left my left arm with only 20% usage. I was also told no matter what do not call my car insurance company. At that initial meeting, I brought a signed re...lease form for my hospital medical records. I was told it was not needed. Four months later, when I inquired as to the status of my case, I was told they needed to get the medical records! And were sending me a release form I needed to sign. Two months later, after I inquired, I was told they received the records. I asked why they had yet to send me to a doctor and they feigned shock that they had forgot to arrange an appointment. Several weeks later, I inquire again as to the doctor appointment and am emailed the name and number to make the appointment myself. I call the doctor's office. It's a machine. I leave a message. No response. I call again. Still no response. Upon my third call, I contact this firm again re the non response and my impending statute of limitations coming up in just 3 weeks time to file suit. They email that they will go ahead and file the suit and call the doctor. Several days later, I receive an email advising me they were "ceasing representation of my claim" because "I failed to keep the medical appointment they arranged for me, and my witnesses, [one of which is my neighbor who told them she would gladly fill out their witness report], were uncooperative and my injury was minimal..." My friend who recommended this firm had a similarly bad experience. A doctor over prescribed a medication that left him for dead. This firm said they would file suit against the doctor & take his case on contigency, but then stalled - then asked him to speak to a medical associate of theirs who then asked him for a huge amount of money to take the case. 6 months wasted while he was fighting for his life. These are bad people. Now I'm left with no recourse against the hit and run driver; too late to engage my insurance company and I'm a writer who can't use their left arm. Run from this firm.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
