First you need to rely on the attorney fing all this. But you should be able to use 245k and stay up to 180 days beyond the I-94 date and still file.

Be careful with this. You cannot just research as an f-1. Talk to the foreign student Advisor of the school.

I am. It sure what was denied. A 485 can not be appealed. An I-140 or an I-130 can be. And the appeal is decided by other people than the officer...
