You can file some separately, but in my opinion it is a waste of your time and will only complicate things. Just think - if you file it all...

No - unless you already have the equivalence of a bachelor's degree, which I doubt based on your set of facts.

The old visa is irrelevant. You can try for a change of status, but it would be best to let an attorney examine all of your documents.
