It's not clear if the lien is based on the case that the alleged breach occurred on. If so, the lien should be voidable.

I had a hip revision, had gram neg infection (3 types). Spent 9 days in ICU 16 weeks total in hospital.

Leaving foreign non-therapeutic items inside the Patient's body is malpractice. Your records has to be reviewed for full analysis.

Ordinarily the excess medical payments are recoverable. However, under the"made whole" doctrine you are allowed to get a waiver.
