E Lynn Malchow

E. Lynn Malchow has 25 years of experience in writing winning briefs.  She has practiced in numerous Federal District Courts, Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal and in the United States Supreme Court, as well as in many state courts, including those in California.  She is licensed to practice in the State of California and in the District of Columbia.

She has written briefs in cases involving contractual disputes, business torts and fraud, insurance coverage, and anti-trust and trade regulation, and she has extensive experience in administrative appeals.   She specializes in both contract and statutory interpretation.

She previously worked for a major national law firm, and was retained as a research/writing specialist by a retired Justice of the United States Supreme Court to assist in impeachment proceedings against a sitting Chief Judge of a state supreme court.  More recently, she was a partner in a Los Angeles law firm before establishing Great Writes 10 years ago.

She has taught legal writing to attorneys; has lectured about legal writing to lawyers and law students; and has held writing workshops for businesses in California.
