Braden Michael Cancilla

Mr. Cancilla represents immigrants in most types of U.S. immigration matters.  He also protects immigrants’ civil rights through class action and other civil litigation.

Mr. Cancilla is the owner and sole attorney at the Law Offices of Braden M. Cancilla.  Mr. Cancilla received a J.D. degree from Loyola Law School.  He obtained an M.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.  Mr. Cancilla received a B.A. in political science with a certicate in Latin American Studies from the University of Iowa.  

Mr. Cancilla represents clients in Immigration Court and on appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Administrative Appeals Office.  He also represents clients before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. consulates abroad and in the federal district and appellate courts.

Mr. Cancilla has litigated numerous class action civil rights cases to: improve interpretation in Immigration Court; assist immigrants to obtain Family Unity; improve the political asylum process and better the conditions for detained immigrants.  

Mr. Cancilla is fluent in Spanish and English.  Mr. Cancilla is a dual citizen of the United States and Canada.

Mr. Cancilla enjoys working on behalf of people from all over the world. He is available to represent immigrants within the United States and abroad.
