Case started with a deportation order. A motion to reopen was filed and denied. I then took over as attorney. Motion to reconsider filed and denied, appeal to BIA denied; filed with 9th Circuit. Ca ... se was won in the 9th Circuit and remanded to the BIA which remanded to Immigration Judge. At this stage I was able to get the case terminated (thrown out) and client able to retain his greencard.
