Todd Benjamin Becker

Mr Todd Becker's associate took my Medical Malpractice case on a contingency almost a year ago. Mr Todd Becker refused to speak to my surgeons and medical experts I brought to their firm. The poor associate who tried working on my case had no control to spend any money to retain an expert. I numer...ously requested that Mr Becker get depose the defendants and retain medical experts, but he was chronically remiss. So much time had elapsed while Mr Todd Becker continued to postpone my deposition. Suddenly the defense files a Motion for Summary Judgement to dismiss my case! Instead of Mr Becker acting to protect me and my case, he fires his associate and files a Motion to Withdraw from my case. Before he did that, he wanted me to front costs and wanted me to do all the work although his retainer is a "contingency case" and I am not an attorney to do his job. As well, I have been disabled from my devastating injuries, let alone planning and about to undergo a 5th revision reconstructive spine surgery. It is direly unprofessional to behave the way Mr Todd Becker has. I question his "state of mind". Now I'm in an emergency to find a new lawyer, except that now my case is too high of a liability with a pending Summary Judgement Motion caused by Mr Becker's lack of Procedural Actions. I have high damages and my case may get dismissed if I'm unable to find a new attorney this late in the game. I hope my review serves helpful for other plaintiffs looking for a powerful advocate, because Mr. Todd Becker is absolutely NOT.

I've worked with many lawyers over the years, on both business and personal matters - and in multiple countries. This particular one is the worst I have ever encountered. The matter related to family & immigration law. The questions were simple, or so we thought. The advice given was misleading, ...at the least. None of the right questions were asked. Some were asked multiple times, as if this lawyer's attention was elsewhere. Response time was horrible. The price was the only plus - perhaps this practice is desperate for business and concerned with converting simple transactions into large ones. Time-frame of interaction: 2013-14.
