I have practiced in the areas of business and corporate litigation since 2002, with an emphasis on lender liability matters, real estate disputes, and appeals. Although my focus is civil litigation, the 45+ lawyers at Lagerlof can service most every legal need encountered by today’s businesses, including appeals, bankruptcy, corporate, employment, executive compensation, as well as tax and estate planning. We have offices in California and Washington.
Prior to joining Lagerlof, LLP (f/k/a AFRCT, LLP) in 2010, I practiced in downtown Los Angeles at Hennigan, Bennett & Dorman, LLP (presently McKool Smith). During this period, I was part of the legal team that represented the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, , Rabobank, as well as First Community Bancorp and its wholly owned subsidiary, Pacific Western National Bank.
During law school, I worked for a summer in Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker’s London office, performing due diligence in their M&A division. My other transactional work performed at Paul Hastings included preparation of contracts on behalf of various financial institutions, including licensing agreements, service contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and commercial leases. I also assisted a financial institution in the sale of a credit card portfolio, and helped prepare legal opinion letters relating to this transaction.
