Ms. Avila assured my civil case would be taken care of. Ms. Avila assured I would be kept informed. After Ms. Avila was paid, I received an email from Ms. Avila stating she is abandoning the case. Ms. Avila never provided an explanation. Ms. Avila never spoke over the phone. Ms. Avila did not leave a...ny voicemails. Ms. Avila did not prepare any work for the case. Ms. Avila did nothing. Ms. Avila has failed to comply with her client.

She rarely answered my inquiries with valuable information; she didn't help progress my case in court; I gave her my documents neatly organized in a binder with tabbed folders and when we parted ways, she gave them back in a messy stack full of post-its, all wrapped with a rubber band; she ignored my... instructions about what I wanted to accomplish with the most critical area of my case - custody.
