Drew Michael Taylor

Drew M. Taylor represents residential, commercial, and institutional property owners throughout California in complex tax disputes, assessment appeals, change-in-ownership exclusions, valuation challenges, and related real estate litigation. With over 20 years of specialized experience in state and local taxation, Drew brings insider perspective and proven results to every matter.

Prior to founding his firm, Drew served for more than eight years as a Deputy County Counsel in the Office of the Los Angeles County Counsel. He acted as lead counsel to the Los Angeles County Assessor and later served as General Counsel to the Treasurer and Tax Collector. In those roles, he handled high-stakes litigation involving major commercial properties (including hotels and large institutional assets), secured multiple published California Court of Appeal decisions, and regularly presented at tax conferences across the state.

Drew earned his J.D., cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law, where he spent two years as a law clerk to the Michigan Tax Tribunal. He holds a B.S. in International Politics from Georgetown University and studied abroad at the University of Vienna.

Drew and his wife, Julie, live in La Cañada Flintridge with their three children. They enjoy family travel, outdoor adventures, and active involvement in their community.
