No, an immigrant petition is one to accord you a green card, not a nonimmigrant status like L-1B.

You probably should not guess. Leaving the item blank or indicating "unknown" may be better than guessing.

If the I-129H is denied, the Employer may lodge an appeal, just as the employer may respond to any RFE.

You cannot file an I-485 until you have a current priority date. You should intend to work for the petitioning employer for the offer to remain...

That sounds like a complicated set of facts and two months is not a long time for USCIS to respond. Wait another two months and schedule an InfoPass.
