You must have worked for a parent, branch, affiliate or subsidiary of the US company for at least one year abroad in order to qualify for an L-1 visa.

You cannot change jobs and retain the validity of the underlying I-140until at least 180 days have elapsed since the I-485 was filed.

Your case may have been reassigned to a new Judge or simply rescheduled by the court as a matter of its own convenience.
