Estate Plans are a way to ensure that when you're gone decisions will be made as though you were making them yourself. It generally entails putting together documents such wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives.

Powers of attorney are documents that allow a person (Principle) to designate an agent (Attorney-in-Fact) to act on their behalf. A durable power of attorney is one that survives the incapacity of the principle. Powers can be limited or broad.
