I found my lawyer through Offtherecord.com looking for help with a 10-year old DUI case. He started working on my case right away and even though I was a nervous client who bothered him for updates often, he was always patient with me. He assured me that it might take time but that he was looking for... the best possible outcome. On that statement he absolutely delivered as my case was dismissed. I’ve even had questions for him since the case ended and he’s been there to answer them.

Just gonna present the facts: [AUG 6, 2020] I got pulled over by a police in Monterey Park, California, and cited for failure to stop at a stop sign; (it was during the height of the COVID pandemic.) The ticket set my court or due date to Nov 4, 2020. [OCT 29, 2020] I requested online for an... extension of the due date at the Los Angeles County Superior Court official website. The website extended my due date to Jan 4, 2021. [DEC 10, 2020] I downloaded an app called "Off the Record" to my mobile phone. The app helps users to find lawyers to fight traffic tickets. Off the Record also has a website, which is more convenient to use on a computer screen than on the phone app and a small screen. I uploaded my ticket and case to the Off the Record website, and paid a fee to the app. [DEC 11, 2020] Mr. Artur Kamali accepted my case. I uploaded a picture of my driver license and my side of the story to Off the Record for Mr. Kamali to review. Afterward, I mostly corresponded with Mr. Kamali via Off the Record. I directly texted his mobile phone a couple times, but his replies were brief. I supposed that, at that point, there was not much else we could do except to wait for the court date. [DEC 31, 2020] Due to the COVID pandemic, the presiding judge granted automatic extensions to all court/due dates. My due date was extended to Jun 15, 2021. [JUN 17, 2021] Mr. Kamali notified me that the court date has been changed/extended, again, to Apr 26, 2022. [MAY 19, 2022] Mr. Kamali notified me that the court date has been changed, yet again, to Jun 7, 2022. [JUN 7, 2022] Mr. Kamali and Off the Record notified me that my case was successfully dismissed. So the whole process took almost two years, but it was mostly hassle free for me. My biggest worry was that, because my case had dragged on for so long, Mr. Kamali would forget about the case. In 2020 and 2021, I sent him messages from time to time to remind him of my case. However, in 2022 I had mostly forgotten about the case until I received the good news from Off the Record that my case was dismissed. (Not sure how the service worked on his end, but I assume Off the Record sent him reminders as well.)

If you want to be ignored, never have calls returned or have your case fought for this is your guy. If I could put negative ratings I would! This lawyer never showed up for two separate traffic tickets. Isn't that the point of this system is we are paying for a lawyer to show up on your behalf? I cal...led and left messages countless times and never got a return call. Ended up getting letters about wage garnishment due to this lawyers lack of professionalism. If you get this lawyer on your case you might as well flush your money down the toilet you might get a better outcome than having this joke as your lawyer. Good luck.
