Alexander C. Blackburn

Alexander Blackburn focuses exclusively on business law and commercial litigation. He represents businesses ranging from local proprietors to international concerns and has successfully litigated against both major corporations and prominent national law firms. Mr. Blackburn advises clients on a range of issues including, for example, business formation, equity, debt and hybrid financing, contract drafting and negotiation, employment law, joint venture formation, and sales and mergers.

Mr. Blackburn earned his undergraduate degree in economics from Stanford University and his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Upon graduation from law school he was recognized with the school’s exclusive Order of Barristers award for excellence in applied lawyering skills. While in law school Mr. Blackburn won the American Bar Association’s Negotiation Competition twice at the school level, was the 2005 Midwest regional champion, and competed successfully at the national level.

Mr. Blackburn is also a Monrovia city Councilman and the President of the Monrovia Rotary Club.
