Due to her passion for and commitment to helping families, Kelly A. Tufts dedicates her practice exclusively to family law. She represents clients with legal matters of dissolution, legal separation, modification requests, support, custody, post-dissolution representation, and domestic violence. Ms. Tufts developed this passion in law school where she worked as a Certified Clerk for the San Diego County Public Defender, Office of Children’s Counsel. There Ms. Tufts represented infants, children, and teens who had been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Ms. Tufts is a compassionate and zealous advocate who understands the highly complex emotions people involved in family law matters face. As such, Ms. Tufts prides herself on her skill for ensuring clients are at ease in her care without reducing her professionalism or compromising her dedication to providing honest, straightforward legal advice.

Ms. Tufts, a native of Southern California, earned her Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law, in Oregon, where she served as the Class President and worked as a Staff Writer for Willamette Law Online, 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. As a result of her work prior to law school handling multi-million dollar budgets as a Project Manager in the concept automotive industry, Ms. Tufts has a vast understanding of business and finance which translates to her dissolution work and the division of assets.
