Ms. Aghai is a former Senior Attorney with the Social Security Administration where she adjudicated thousands of disability claims and drafted Administrative Law Judge decisions. After her tenure at SSA, Ms. Aghai established the Law Offices of Sima G. Aghai in 2001 with offices in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, serving the disabled community.
Ms. Aghai’s practice is focused on representing disabled individuals to secure various types of disability benefits, including SSA disability, Supplemental Security Income, ERISA governed Long Term Disability and Short Term Disability coverage as well as public employee disability benefits such as LACERA and other agencies, from inception of administrative process through Administrative Law Judge hearings and judicial review in federal courts.
Sima G. Aghai holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA, a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
