Many "legally viable" reasons to oppose lien sale. Most common: notice violation, publication violation, mistake. Review statute for others.

Not unusual for account to be listed more than one time on credit report.
Original creditor and collector often list same account.

Yes. If SOL has not run. creditor may re-list debt.
If SOL has run and no lawsuit filed, creditor cannot sue to enforce debt. Several exceptions...
