My mother's I94 is expiring on Sep 30. She came to US on visiting visa. She applied for her extension(I539) on Aug 11.

I would recommend that since, if visa is denied, she will be deemed overstay and her visa will be voided due to overstay without authorization
They didn't give me I-94 in the airport when i arrived, they just stamped my passport, Can i get a copy from my I-94 on line?
