Perhaps, as with MANY out there I never ever thought 'we' would ever have to be in the position to apply for MEDI-CAL assistance, but unfortunately, 'life' can throw you 'curve balls' that leaves you with NO CHOICE in the matter...I have to say Elder Care Law, Laura, Weylon and their team of EXPER...TS made this process a lot more UNCOMPLICATED than I ever thought it would be. I had visited another elder law attorney who charged me $600.00 per visit. 1st visit he affirmed my family were eligible for Medi-Cal; 2nd visit he re-affirmed our eligibility. He did not know how to file an application. He was no help and gave no counsel. He also offered more help if I were to pa...y him $5,000.00 to put him on retainer.
