Sue the landlord in small claims, ask for a total refund of the deposit and damages for wrongful withholding.

I would sue the HOA in small claims court, show them no mercy as they will show you none. Allege conspiracy and kickback to the board of directors.

If you lived there and you made less than $250,000 profit probably not. Talk to a CPA or tax attorney.

You could try suing, but the Federal Courts have not sided with the borrowers much. But CW was dirty, so contact an attorney.
