Good luck, errors occur, judges are human and if you do not have a transcript an appeal will be costly and difficult.

That does not make sense if you are present , ask them for their reasoning in writing.

File a motion for continuance based on need for discovery and excusable neglect. Only the judge can change the date, not his secretary.
