Natalie L Weatherford

Senior partner Natalie Weatherford is a fierce advocate for children and adults who have survived sexual assault and abuse. In-and-outside the courtroom, she serves as a steadfast protector for her clients to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect at every stage of the legal process.

She has tried numerous high-stake cases, achieving landmark verdicts and settlements, including:

• $102.5 million verdict on behalf of two former students who were sexually groomed and abused by their music teacher while attending Dartmouth Middle School in San Jose, CA
• $35 million verdict on behalf of a former student who was raped by her male coach while on an overnight school event trip in Pomona, CA
• $28 million settlement for seven women who were sexually abused by their first-grade teacher
• $25.3 million verdict on behalf of a former teen school employee who was sexually abused by his supervisor at the Westerly School in Long Beach, CA. The school staff was negligent in reporting suspicious activity
• $14 million settlement for a deaf student sexually molested by a staff member at California School for the Deaf

Natalie’s work has been widely recognized by leading legal organizations and publications. In addition to being named CAALA Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2024, she has been named to Best Lawyers (2020-2026) and more recently honored as a 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyer, among other distinctions from SuperLawyers and LA Times B2B Publishing.

She obtained her J.D. from Southwestern Law School after earning her B.A. from California State University, Long Beach.
