Nedeen Nasser is the Founding Attorney at Nasser Law. She helps small and medium-sized businesses with trademarks, taxation, contracts, and other transactional matters. She also serves as outside general counsel to businesses that need ongoing legal support but do not have an in-house legal team. She is admitted to practice in California and Arizona and before the U.S. Tax Court.
Ms. Nasser brings over a decade of experience in intellectual property. She advises clients on IP transactions and trademark prosecution, both in the United States and internationally. She has represented clients in complex inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
Before founding her practice, Ms. Nasser served as in-house General Counsel for a consumer products company in San Diego. There, she played a key role in developing the company's trademark and patent portfolios in the United States and abroad. Today, she also serves as fractional general counsel for growing businesses, including a financial and business advisory firm.
Ms. Nasser also plays a pivotal role in shaping the framework for new IP laws and fostering the legal community. In January 2023, she served as a panelist on the USPTO's Roundtable for the Study on Non-fungible Tokens and Related Intellectual Property Law Issues. She is Co-Chair of LAIPLA's Small Firm Outreach Committee and its TechTainment Committee. The TechTainment Committee works closely with ASU to expand LAIPLA's outreach.
She is also exploring the ethical issues that artificial intelligence raises for the practice of law.
