John Michael Levy

John Levy is a co-founder of The Beverly Hills Litigation Group. As a litigator, he has extensive class action exposure, first chair trial experience, and has argued in the Ohio Supreme court. As a business counselor, he has handled contract negotiation, business formation, officer and director advising, venture capital term sheets, securities compliance, and HR & employment matters.

John’s litigation experience includes extensive prosecution of complex class actions involving allegations of securities fraud, consumer fraud, and breach of contract. In addition, he has significant experience in employment, corporate, financial services, real estate, and health care litigation.

He has also devoted a considerable amount of time and energy representing individuals, pro bono, through the Legal Aid Society of Southwest Ohio’s Volunteer Lawyers Project. For several years, John has been recognized by his peers as a Super lawyer, Rising Star.

In addition to his law degree, John also obtained his MBA, which allows him to bring a business savvy and approach to clients’ legal issues.

Originally a native Southern Californian, John was uprooted at an early age when his family moved back to his father’s hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. There, John was instilled with good Midwestern values, including the belief that strong people stand up for themselves, while stronger people stand up for others. A girl eventually brought John’s life full circle,and back to Southern California. John’s marrying that girl this summer.

When not fighting for his clients, John enjoys being outside doing just about anything: swimming, golf, tennis, running, hiking, and biking. He does not enjoy writing about himself in the third person.
