Alan Stuart Vertun

I switched lawyers based on a recommendation from a secretary. Bad move. Alan was supposed to write to the California court to get a court lien removed for my previous lawyer so I can get my settlement check. I heard no word after two months. I went in after that time to get a copy of this suppos...ed letter he wrote and he left our the name and contact details for that lawyer so nothing could have been done since the Court could not have known who the complaint was about. I pointed this out to him and he must have been pretty embarrassed because he started yelling telling me to get out and told me he couldnt work with me. Absolutely unprofessional and takes no responsibility for his actions. I have now changed representation and am told if no response if given in two weeks, a claim can be made to the insurance company for the payout. How someone who has been practicing for 38 years could not have known this is quite appalling and shows his lack of due diligence as my attorney.
