Aimee Jill Zeltzer

After graduating Georgetown Law (top 1/3 of class) and Georgetown University (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and Dean's List every semester) I passed the Bar, have been admitted, and practiced in three states: California, New York, and New Jersey.  I have a proclitivity towards everything Real Estate, including but not limited to Real Estate Transactions (both Residential and Commercial), Financing, Investments, Mortgage Backed Securities, Litigation, and Landlord/Tenant disputes. (I also was the Real Property expert for the call in hotline when I was a Bar Tutor at Bar Bri in New York City.) 

I am an experienced Litigator in Business, Contracts, Real Estate, and Fraud matters.  I have assisted in Securities, Bankruptcy, Fraud, and Breach of Contract cases in the private sector for Big Pharmaceutical, fortune 500, and other large Corporations.  I have worked on many cases as the defense counsel in Governmental prosecution/Investigation. My foreign language skills enabled me to participate in many cases on the International level and for several companies based in Israel, France, and Italy.  Lastly, I worked on several large, high profile and publicized Class Action cases, mostly on the Plaintff's side.

In 2005, I started my own practice that catered to my family and friends in Wills and Trusts, Family Law, Real Estate, and Business matters. 

In 2013 I moved to California where my family lives. I took and passed the California Bar Exam, wrote and published a book on Passing the Bar in New York and California (?k=aimee+zeltzer&crid=3MP6MHBUWJJ3F&sprefix=aimee+ze%2Caps%2C193&ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_8), and branched out to specialize in Landlord/Tenant litigation. 

I worked at Beit Tzedek Legal services in the Elder Abuse Prevention and Real Estate Groups.  My work included research and writing for Class Action law suits against Loan Predators and Impact Litiagtion to protect the Elderly and Disabled against companies that were defrauding and taking advantage of these vlunerable groups. I then practiced at Tenant's Law Firm, which is a non profit law firm that specializes in assisting Tenants in Unlawful Detainer actions and Proactive lawsuits against Slum Landlords.

In addition to practing law I have held a local political office seat for SORO (South Robertson Neighborhood Council) in Los Angeles, California, where I was the elected at-large representative and Green Team (Sustainability Issues) Chair and Co-Chair, and member of the Land Use, Transportation, Security, and Quality of Life (addressing issues in homelessness, mental health, and community concerns) committees. I am running for re-election this Spring.

I am continuing to build my own law firm which specializes in Real Estate, Wills, Trusts, (including Pet Trusts) and Estates, Business Litigation, Contracts and a variety of Pro Bono matters to help the Disabled and Elderly.

My hobbies include serving as a judge for undergraduate mock trial tournaments, writing and publishingn legal and non legal books, articles and op-eds, frequently volunteering for sevearl non profits, and advocating for animals, art, and sustainability causes. When I'm not working, or pursuing my hobbies I enjoy spending time at the beach, gym, and musical theater.
