Sage Sylvan Stone

With over a decade of litigation experience, Mr. Stone brings a focused, aggressive, and creative approach to representing California employees in class action and representative action claims in state court, federal court, and arbitrations. Mr. Stone has extensive employment experience handling not only class and representative action matters, but also cases involving claims of disability, race, and sex discrimination, as well as sexual harassment and whistleblower retaliation. As a former defense attorney at a premier, international labor and employment law firm, Mr. Stone obtained considerable insight into how employers value and defend against employees' claims. His understanding of defendants' motivations, incentives, and strategies informs Mr. Stone's strategy in prosecuting his clients' claims to trial or settlement. Over the course of his career, he has secured awards and settlements for his clients, often involving millions of dollars to be distributed to thousands of employees. In 2025, Mr. Stone was recognized by his peers for excellence, earning him the accolade of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Labor and Employment Law.

The son of a firefighter and schoolteacher, Mr. Stone's working career began as a dishwasher and then as a grocery store clerk. Mr. Stone worked his way through college at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and then attended law school at the prestigious University of Texas School of Law, then ranked in the top 15 law schools in the nation. Mr. Stone's humble background enables him to understand employees' experiences and the hardships that result when employees are treated unfairly. Mr. Stone prioritizes the needs of his clients and works closely with them to ensure their rights are protected. Mr. Stone is fluent in Spanish.

Outside of work, Mr. Stone is a husband to a wonderful wife and proud dad to three beautiful children. He often can be found hiking with his dog, taking his kids to the park, cooking Cajun/Creole food, and playing board games.
