With more than 25 years of experience, Paul Zuckerman is a seasoned personal injury lawyer who acts as a relentless advocate for his clients.
Paul launched his legal career in 1991 after graduating from law school close to the top of his class. He went to work as an attorney for an insurance company where he believed his services would be used to help policyholders. However, reality set in and Paul saw that his efforts were doing the opposite — they were leaving injured people shortchanged while padding the pockets of his employer.
This realization led to a career-changing decision for Paul — he left the insurance company and started his own practice with his law school classmate, John Carpenter. The two attorneys formed Carpenter & Zuckerman, a law firm that is solely dedicated to representing the wrongfully injured against big, powerful insurance companies that so often take advantage of these victims.
Paul believes in treating each of his clients with the care and respect with which he would like to be treated. He gives them one-on-one attention, makes unsolicited calls to see how they’re doing, and takes the time to understand their situation and empathize with their experience. As a result, Paul has built a reputation as an attorney that clients can trust.
Carpenter & Zuckerman has collectively obtained more than $2 billion for injury victims and their families. Some of his personal wins include $13.86 million for a boxer who sustained a mild traumatic brain injury in an auto accident, $2.1 million obtained for a homeless drug addict who was run over by a garbage truck (that client is now sober and working to help get other homeless individuals off the street), and many other million- and multimillion-dollar settlements and verdicts.

Paul graduated with his law degree from Southwestern Law School, and he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California.
