Without going into a bunch of details, several of us decided to take on the City of Long Beach. We tried to do this ourselves by filing an appeal, and by collecting signatures on petitions. Our appeal was denied. In our search for an attorney to handle the next step we found Jamie T. Hall. He let us know what we needed to do and when we needed to do it. His office took us through negotiations and when it got to a point where we realized that we were not going to go as far with it as we wanted, he helped us to settle with a win-win outcome. He put together the complaint, and I had the opportunity to read it before it was filed. I was so impressed! It was a case with a lot of details, and he had put it together in such as way that anyone would be able to know what was going on. I remember telling another person on the committee that I just wanted to hug him! That is the way he made me feel. That our case was in good hands.
