When a new or leased vehicle has needed repeated repairs for the same defect, Debora helps clients pursue a refund, replacement, or cash settlement from the manufacturer under California's Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. A vehicle is presumed to be a lemon if, within 18 months or 18,000 miles, the manufacturer has failed to fix a safety-related defect after two repair attempts, failed to fix another recurring defect after four attempts, or the vehicle has been out of service for repairs for 30 or more cumulative days. California's lemon law procedures changed significantly in 2025, with new requirements under AB 1755 and SB 26 that mean consumers must send manufacturers a formal written notice at least 30 days before filing a lawsuit, and in some cases go through mediation before litigation proceeds. Debora stays current on these changes so clients' claims aren't delayed or dismissed on procedural grounds.

Personal Injury

Debora also represents clients who have been injured due to another party's negligence, including car accident and other personal injury claims throughout the Los Angeles area.
