Aviel Dahan

Avi Dahan is an entertainment and business attorney based in Beverly Hills, CA. Mr. Dahan’s practice focuses on contract drafting and negotiation, counseling, and dispute resolution, in entertainment, media, intellectual property, and business law. Mr. Dahan represents recording artists, songwriters, producers, actors, entertainment industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and small to medium sized businesses in all transactional business and legal matters.

Before forming Dahan Law Group, Mr. Dahan worked for Johnson & Johnson, LLP, where he litigated high profile entertainment cases including copyright infringement, defamation, misappropriation and breach of contract claims, on behalf of celebrity recording artists, songwriters, producers, filmmakers, and actors. Mr. Dahan also worked for Rothenberg P.C., a prestigious boutique music law firm, where he represented high profile recording artists, songwriters, and producers, drafted and negotiated various entertainment contracts, and resolved music industry disputes. Before joining Rothenberg, P.C. Mr. Dahan worked for Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton’s Entertainment, Technology, and Advertising group where he counseled clients, drafted and negotiated film and TV agreements, and litigated high profile copyright and trademark cases across various industries including music, film, television, radio, technology, and fashion.

Prior to Law School, Mr. Dahan worked for William Morris Endeavor, Live Nation, and Columbia Records, learning the ins and outs of the entertainment business and gaining a deep understanding of the industry customs and practice.

Mr. Dahan earned his Juris Doctorate from USC Gould School of Law, graduated in the top 10% of his class, and was selected for the Order of the Coif. Mr. Dahan also earned his B.S. degree in Accounting from Cal State University of Northridge, where he graduated with honors.

In addition to his passion for law, Mr. Dahan enjoys playing guitar, producing music, DJing, traveling the world, and food tasting.
