We needed to file a BK case and choose Ms. Foster to represent us. We told her that we wanted to file Chapter 13 she said no file 7. After meeting with the Trustee he said we needed to file Chapter 13...Duh !!! I don't believe that Ms. Foster knows how to file Chapter 13 so we did ALL of the paper...work. After 5 LONG years of making every payment we come to find out that Ms. Foster filed additional paperwork, didn't tell us and ultimately we had to make 61 payments to complete the case. It was AWFUL. When you finally reach your destination and then have the rug pulled out from under you and to find out that your lawyer didn't tell the truth. In fact, at the end of the case (prior to the 61st payment) we contacted Ms. Foster's assistant and she assured us that we had made all of the payments. Ms. Foster would literally give us 1 days notice that we had to appear and when we asked for the discharge to be expediated she said would do that but it took 6 months to complete. July to February. I can not tell you have frustrating this entire case was and a waste of the $2000 payment that she required up front and never told the court about. We should have completed the entire case ourselves and the outcome would have been the same. Find someone other than Ms. Foster for your own
