I have litigated cases involving discrimination based on gender. sexual orientation and harassment, age, race, national origin, disability, etc. I have represented both plaintiffs and defendants. Most of the time, the matters I handle are settled out of court.

I handle copyright and trademark work for clients seeking to protect their ownership, as well as for clients trying to be informed about whether their work is sufficiently transformative to stand as a separate and unique work. I collaborate with artists to help clients establish unique marks in trademark matters and work to ensure that such marks are protected.

Almost all my work in all practice areas involves contract drafting, negotiating, commenting, etc. This represents the percent of my work that is hard to classify except to say that it involves business contracts of all kinds: partnership and joint ventures, financing, distribution, production, and all others that involve 2 or more parties who need to put their understandings down in writing.
