Joseph Arthur Kaufman

Joseph Kaufman is an experienced trial lawyer who focuses his practice on consumer warranty and lemon law matters.  Mr. Kaufman spent most of his career defending car, motorcycle and trucking companies in breach of warranty matters, but after observing far too many consumers be taken advantage of he launched Lemon Law Aid with the goal of providing effective, honest, and diligent representation to consumers.

Mr. Kaufman began his career with a national products liability defense firm that focused on the defense and representation of automobile companies. After a few years, Mr. Kaufman moved to the Los Angeles office of a preeminent international law firm, where he was elevated to partner in 2012.  He launched Lemon Law Aid as a consumer protection firm in 2016 with the goal of providing consumers with the same level of representation as the car companies.

Mr. Kaufman has personally handled thousands of lemon law cases, has been involved in the trial or arbitration of dozens of lemon law matters, and has participated in the mediations of hundreds of cases. While a fast resolution of your lemon law claim is always the goal, if trial is needed Mr. Kaufman has the skill set and knowledge needed to effectively represent consumers at every stage of a lemon law claim.
