Antony Kimball Tung

Having immigrated to the United States from Taiwan, Mr. Tung understands the challenges of assimilating into American culture and society. Growing up in an immigrant family, he empathizes with new immigrants’ struggles, particularly their difficulties in navigating the complexities of American laws and the legal system, including understanding their basic rights. Furthermore, he recognizes the importance of finding a trustworthy attorney in these situations.

Mr. Tung began his legal career as a general prosecutor, handling a wide range of cases, including but not limited to prostitution, drug crimes, theft, burglary, robbery, assault & battery, vandalism, and domestic violence. He believes that trial experience is essential to providing effective counsel, setting him apart from attorneys who start their careers in law firms without courtroom exposure.

He later transitioned into a specialized role as a gang prosecutor, where he was assigned to handle cases from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division—historically one of the city’s highest-crime areas. During this time, Mr. Tung was a key member of the Community Law Enforcement and Recovery (CLEAR) task force, which included representatives from the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles County Probation Department, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, and the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

In 2011, Mr. Tung founded Tung & Associates, APLC, based on his strong belief that he could best serve the public by working directly for them. He often takes on cases where clients are dissatisfied with the progress of their case or with their current attorneys. Depending on the situation, he seeks to resolve cases through negotiation or, if necessary, trial.

Thanks to the optimal results he has consistently achieved for his clients, Mr. Tung was able to expand his firm through the ongoing support and referrals of satisfied clients. His team of attorneys and support staff handle cases throughout California, other states, and in the federal court system.
