Biography
ANGELA J. REDDOCK-WRIGHT - Employment Mediator, Los Angeles
A practicing attorney for nearly 25 years, Angela is the founder of the Reddock Law Group (RLG), a LA-based minority and woman-owned law firm specializing in the mediation, arbitration and investigation of employment law, Title IX sexual assault and misconduct, hazing, and bullying legal claims.
She also is a member of the panel of mediators and arbitrators at Signature Resolution, a private dispute resolution firm with offices throughout California.
Prior to opening RLG in 2011, Angela was an employment and labor law litigator for 15 years. During this time, she represented clients in the full array of employment law cases and handled two of the top hazing, wrongful death, and personal injury cases involving top sororities. She also handled the appeal in a high-profile juvenile criminal case involving a wrongful death resulting from teen bullying. Additionally, she handled two seminal cases involving gas and car wash industry owners who had administrative (NLRB), civil and criminal claims asserted against them for their alleged failure to pay proper wages and to provide meal and rest breaks, among other claims, to workers.
As a workplace and Title IX investigator, Angela is certified through the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI-CH). She has extensive experience investigating and mediating traditional workplace claims, along with Title IX sexual assault, hazing and bullying cases for K-12 schools, colleges and universities. Angela also serves on the LA County Equity Oversight Commission, a panel of expert attorneys who review the County’s human resources and equity investigations.
In recent years, Angela has worked on some of the most compelling projects in Los Angeles, including serving as a co-Administrator for the Project Labor Agreement (PLA) for the So-Fi Stadium where the LA Rams and Chargers football teams play; in the wake of the “Me Too” movement, Angela has worked with the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) to assist in updating its member policies relating to the reporting of claims of sexual harassment; and serving as the Compliance Manager for the multi-billion dollar LAMP construction project at LAX. She also worked in-house as General Counsel, Chief Operating & HR Officer for the LA Urban League.
Angela has extensive experience in the government, civic, community, and non-profit sectors. She has run for and served in public office and has served on numerous public and non-profit sector boards and commissions.
