Stephen Loomis Bucklin

Mr. Bucklin is licensed to practice law in the states of Washington and California. He speaks fluent Japanese and has represented numerous Japanese speaking individuals in employment matters. Mr. Bucklin is an accomplished trial attorney, having tried more than 50 trials to completion in the following locations, all as first chair trial counsel: California, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, Los Angeles County, County of San Francisco, Multnomah County Oregon (pro hac vice), and King County, Washington (both civil and criminal cases). In addition to handling thousands of litigated matters in state courts, Mr. Bucklin has appeared as lead counsel in over 100 federal cases.

Mr. Bucklin is also an accomplished appellate attorney with ten reported decisions. He has been the lead attorney in over 50 appellate matters. He has handled appellate matters in the following courts: First District Court of Appeal (San Francisco), Second District Court of Appeal (Los Angeles), Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (both Seattle and Pasadena) and Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (Washington, D.C.).

Mr. Bucklin maintains an active pro bono commitment to our nation’s veterans and is a member of the National Organization for Veteran’s Advocates.
