I got pulled over driving down a one way street the wrong way and then arrested for a DUI. My BAC was .13, .14 when I blew at the station. Derek Danielson handled my case. MLB reps told me that they'd won cases harder than mine and lost easier ones, but that I had a fighting chance. The decision was ...mine. I had some factors in my favor... no one way street signs, I came out of a parking lot, I stopped immediately and the cop was right there. It was on video, my driving was good, my FST's were good too. The bad was my BAC levels. When I first met Danielson I was put off by his sharp and aggressive demeanor. But once we were in court I learned that his demeanor is what makes him a pro. He never lead my emotions, he always gave it to me straight. He told me where we had a good chance and where we didn't. But more importantly he told me he was going to fight for me and do the best he could do. And fight he did. Not only was he a total pro in the courtroom, but he made the prosecution (two lawyers) look like rookies, he cross examined the arresting officer to my favor as well as their expert witness and even called out the judge on a few accounts. He did a great job and we won!

My wife and I spoke with 3 different attorney's offices and we knew right away that MLB was going to represent us. I was arrested for my 2nd DUI about 8 months ago. I thought I was a goner for sure. I figured there was going to be some good jail time in my future, not to mention how many classes I was going to attend and how much money I was going to fork out. I never imagined that I would be in need........of a lawyer for a DUI. How wrong was I. First off it was poor judgement on my behalf, should have taken a cab but you know I was ok..yeah right. i called MLB and they assigned William Duffy to my case and man I can tell you he was just what the doctor o...rdered.
