I contacted Mr. Simkin after roughly a month of no call-backs from other lawyers regarding an at-will tenancy issue with my ex girlfriend and her dad. They had refused to leave my apartment although her and I had been broken up for a couple months now. My first conversation with Mr. Simkin in lat...e March, he was nothing but honest and professional. He went into detail not only about the ways he could resolve my situation, but also "what-ifs" if my houseguests tried to fight the eviction. He was also open about how unpredictable the covid courts were, but estimated he could have them out in 2 to 3 months. At the end of our conversation, Mr. Simkin even waived half the retainer in the event they left within 30 days (they did!). I forwarded him the necessary information within the same afternoon and within a week, his staff had eviction paperwork prepared and an appointment for a process server to (properly) deliver it. Both Mr. Simkin and his staff kept in constant communication; at one point, when things became tense in my apartment, he reached out at midnight on a Friday with some great personal and legal advice. In conclusion, I absolutely recommend Mr. Simkin. His knowledge and professionalism brought an end to what was the most stressful time in my life.
