The divorce decree stipulated that my name would remain on the title, of the home, until at which time my ex-husband paid me a specified amount, or he sold the home. In 2016, I found out my name was no longer on the house & I hadn't signed any documents to have my name removed. I was shocked. After 18 years, I didn't know if the decree was still valid. I didn't want to confront my ex-husband in person, so I needed an attorney. I received several referrals, but no one, I was comfortable with. So I went searching on the internet for an attorney.
