Kenneth J. Sargoy

Kenneth J. Sargoy attended New York University and graduated from the New School for Social Research in 1971.  Ken worked as a social worker in New York City before moving to California where, in 1981, he earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Whittier College School of Law.  During law school, Ken was a member of the Dean's List and Notes and Comments Editor of the Whittier Law Review.  He also served as an extern to the Honorable William P. Gray, United States District Judge, Central District of California, working on the court's law and motion calendar.

Ken has written and lectured on various topics of Employment Law.  His Blog on topical employment law issues can be accessed from Avvo's website.  Ken is currently completing a book for lawyers practicing in the federal courts, entitled Overcoming Discovery Obstacles.

Ken's practice emphasizes representation of individuals and companies in state and federal court cases.  His areas of practice include labor and employment counseling, employment litigation, family law and dissolution of marriage, business and contracts litigation, personal injury, civil rights, criminal defense, elder abuse, and civil and criminal appeals.  Ken is licensed to practiced law in the State of California and in federal courts of the Ninth Circuit.
