About Daniel
Biography
A lawyer for over 25 years, my experience includes representing Fortune 500 companies and other businesses, Director of Business & Legal Affairs for a major motion picture company and General Counsel for a major personal care products company. I have applied my understanding of the "management side" to achieve favorable results for individuals whose rights have been diminished, including numerous trial victories in civil, administrative and criminal courts. My primary clients are teachers and other educators, as well as business owners and corporate executives. My experience with business transactions, employment agreements and trademark and copyright law also provides solid insight to guide clients through other complex legal situations.
I have substantial litigation and trial experience in State and Federal courts throughout Southern California. I have also argued appellate cases before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and California Court of Appeals. I have obtained indvidual verdicts and settlements for clients in excess of $1 Million in value. I also represent international companies in trademark registration and enforcement and am General Counsel for a large cosmetics manufacturing company with sales worldwide. Entertainment work includes representation of producers, actors, and writers in connection with film, television and new media productions and copyright and right of publicity matters.
