Aimee is incredible. She took her time with me and made sure to address my concerns in mediating my case. She did not pressure me or try to influence my choices, which I appreciated. And I was grateful that her team understood my financial concerns and took it to heart by updating me on a regular so ...I could manage my expenses.

I found Aimee online through a referral website when I needed help with my family business's troubling contract situation. I also reached out to some other attorneys at the same time. Aimee was by far the best! The other attorneys had layers and layers of "assistants" and "staff" before I could talk ...to them - and, of course, they wanted my money to get on the phone with me and hear me out. Aimee's assistant reached out to me quickly with a link to set up a brief phone call (no charge!) where I could speak to her and not another staff member. She was very professional and used our time to listen and ask questions. She then told me that she thought she could be of assistance but needed to see me for a more thorough consultation before providing legal advice. I hesitated because I had seen lawyers who just took my money and told me I needed to pay them to research, and then they could tell me something. Aimee was different. I felt like she cared. And she also told me she would refer me to free clinics or more affordable attorneys if money was an issue. After talking to another attorney, I decided I would risk paying for a consultation with Aimee. I was not disappointed! Sure she was charging me by the hour, but she asked me to send my documentation before so she could review it and not spend my money/time looking at documents during our meeting. Her staff was friendly and prompt to answer when I had questions. And the best part: Aimee never asked me for a retainer or some other type of exclusivity. I respect that she made me feel free to come or go as I pleased. My initial consult with Aimee felt like talking to an old friend. She listens. I know that because she picked up on the minor details! I got emotional and cried for some time. Aimee stopped "the clock" and gave me a tissue. She asked if I wanted a tea or some time to breathe. I could not believe this was happening. When I was recomposed, we finished our meeting, and she showed me that she was absorbing everything the whole time before that. She gave me suggestions for at least four options and told me her concerns and why she thought that would be an option. I chose to start with one of them, but I felt like this was my choice. Aimee worked with me through the mediation process, and I was able to get a more than satisfactory resolution. I thank her for encouraging me to pursue a peaceful strategy before because it was fast and prevented further emotional strain in our family. I have referred two people to her so far, and I always tell them the same thing: she has a heart and a big brain. I am posting here because Aimee's thank you note mentioned I could post a review on this website, but she did not ask me to say anything in particular.
