Linda Kanyange Rurangirwa

Linda is a Partner in Daehnke Stevens LLP and works in the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas offices.  In her current practice, Linda specializes in medical malpractice and dental malpractice cases, as well as healthcare related litigation in California and Nevada.  Her litigation practice consists of defending physicians, dentists, hospitals and healthcare professionals against professional liability actions.

Linda has second-chaired several medical malpractice jury trials to verdict.

Linda also defends dentists before the dental board and consults with clients with regard to HIPAA compliance and reporting of suspected HIPAA violations.

Linda graduated from Creighton University in 1997 with a degree in Chemistry.  She then attended St. Louis University School of Public Health and in 2000 obtained a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology. Thereafter, she attended University of Minnesota School of Law, graduating cum laude in May 2003 with a Juris Doctor.

Linda became a member of the State Bar of California in December 2003, and a member of the State Bar of Nevada in 2004.  She is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (“LACBA”) and the Litigation Section of LACBA.  She is licensed to practice before all courts of the states of Nevada and California, as well as the United States District Court, Central and Southern District of California.  She is also a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, DRI and Las Vegas HEALS.

Linda has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the years 2007, 2009 – 2011 and 2013 – 2015.
