One of a Kind. The Very Best.

Amy is amazing!!! With very little time left under the statute of limitations to file a law suit, my attorney got sick and could no longer handle my case. That is when I found Amy. From the very first time I spoke to her on the phone I knew she was not like other attorney’s. She was very strai...ght forward and honest about my case and presented herself as a very knowledgeable and experienced attorney. She gained my trust and confidence from the very start. And that never changed. Not only is she knowledgeable and experienced, she is all hands on and works hard for you. She personally handles your case. You have no doubt working with Amy that she knows as much about your case as you do. There was not one time that she put me off to her secretary or paralegal. She handled every single one of my phone calls, questions, even the dumb ones and emails herself. She took the time to explain everything that was happening and never seemed rushed or in a hurry. She keeps you in the loop about the status of your case, gives you her opinion about what is happening, even if it is to her detriment. She carries herself professionally and exudes strength and confidence. Especially when dealing the opposition. She knows when to be strong and take a stand and when to concede for the greater good. Amy makes you feel like you are her only client not just one of the many cases she is juggling. She is not your typical attorney. She is much more. She is the best attorney anybody could ask for.. I would recommend her without any reservation or hesitancy.

Consider Amy.

If you prefer a seasoned attorney with a personal touch in a boutique firm, you may want to meet with Amy Semmel. She stood strong in mediation, negotiating a fair settlement with grace and ease, which was impressive, while not backing down when up against my former employer, a hard ball negotiator a...nd his legal team. From the start, Amy was hands on - hardworking, driven, and accessible - from the initial consultation throughout the preparation process and mediation. Once hired, immediately she contacted me to obtain important information critical to the case, and was prompt returning calls, available to answer any questions or concerns by phone or email. Amy’s initial consultation is no charge, and it would be time well spent giving her a call to assess your case.

You're in good hands with Semmel!!

I hired Amy Semmel in 2015 to represent me in a humiliating and emotionally draining employment matter. After my initial consultation with Amy, I knew she was the right attorney to represent me in my lawsuit against my former employer. Right from the start, Amy and her staff took the time to sift t...hrough the details of my case. They asked the right questions, provided counseling on the legality of my case, and most importantly, were very honest about the strengths and weaknesses of my case. Amy and her staff got just about as angry as I was about the incompetent and defamatory actions of my former employer, which put me at ease. Amy and her staff were very easy to work with, always responding to my silly questions in a timely manner. They made sure I was well prepared for my deposition, as well as ensuring I responded to complicated interrogatories. She fought to get me a fair resolution to my case. Her firm is small but mighty and her staff is fully engaged in your case. I highly recommend Amy for your employment-related legal needs!

The best experience during a difficult time

My lawsuit was about sexual harassment and I wanted to find an attorney that would understand my situation. I had just been through a very difficult time and the lawsuit was even more stressful. Amy has an amazing ability to make people feel comfortable. Her confidence really gave me the strength to ...get through. I would recommend Amy Semmel to anyone needing representation. Amy is strategic, tough and incredibly talented. If you are looking for good representation with someone to literally guide you through a tough time in your life then stop because you found her. Amy Semmel will handle your case informing you and making sure you understand the process. I was pleased with Amy Semmel and the entire staff.

Absolutely Amazing, Outstanding Representation!

Powerful and extremely influential in her field of expertise, I could not believe how utterly protected I was! I will never be able to thank Amy Semmel enough! So, thank you my friend! You are awesome! This is how it goes with Amy. Trust me, if you work with Amy, she will become your friend too...! She is simply remarkable! I needed help this past year, and although time was tight, I found Amy Semmel! I would like to tell anyone that reads this post... please, call Amy! Don't wait. From wrongful termination, to any number of complex and complicated employment scenarios, believe me, Amy knows exactly what to do! Most importantly, if you have a heart like I do, Amy is a sincerely compassionate, highly educated and caring human being! It didn't matter what time of day it was, my calls were always (and I mean always) answered and returned. I was given massive doses of the dignity and care that I craved, in my greatest moment of need. Our lives are formed in memories of the paths that we create. Amy joined me along my path and for that, I am so fortunate.

"I know Amy from a professional organization of which we are both members. I know her to be a genuine Attorney who truly cares about her clients. She is selective with the cases she takes on because she fully commits herself and puts all her energy into the client's matter. Amy regularly obtains settlements in the high hundreds of thousands range, as well as some in seven figures. She has tried numerous cases to verdict, some for employees and some for employers. She also will not hesitate to take the case to trial if necessary as she is a diligent and zealous litigator. Amy is highly experienced in all employment matters, but her passion is representing clients dealing with retaliation for whistleblowing and reporting discrimination. I highly endorse and recommend Amy because her clients can count on her to achieve the results they deserve."

"Amy Semmel is the best employment attorney a person could ever find. She is exceptionally bright, talented and innovative. Before turning to the representation of employees, Amy represented employers/businesses for many years. She understands what drives the employers and insurance companies “across the table.” Amy not only knows a lot about substantive employment law, but is a tenacious advocate for her clients, consistently getting the best results possible. She has substantial trial experience, and will try the case if a reasonable settlement is not offered. She is smart, organized, and committed to the interests of her clients."
