Summary of Qualifications:
I have experience working in the corporate finance division of major law firm, ran a division of an internet marketing company, worked as a CFO and General Counsel for both a non-profit and an iPhone application company. I could be very useful in a startup where they have more positions to fill than they have money to pay for (an example would be a company that would like to hire a CFO & General Counsel but can't afford both).
In addition, I have over ten years of real estate and business related legal experience. Bought and sold numerous distressed properties in both a climbing and falling real estate market. Counseled clients on a vast array of legal issues including but not limited to: overseeing the purchase and selling of various properties, helping with subdivisions and zoning issues, negotiating contracts, short sales, loan modifications, as well as reviewing and preparing legal and financial documents.
Specialties:
MY UNIQUE SKILLS: RARE AMONG LAWYERS AND MOST PROFESSIONALS:
I am looking for a place where I can utilize my main skills which most lawyers don't possess.
1) I have an MBA and have owned my own companies so I understand the business environment unlike most lawyers; even business and corporate lawyers.
2) I know it is a cliché, but I am really good at dealing with people. I can get angry people to calm down, and can mediate problems between people, and I am good at getting people to like and trust me.
3) I have no fear of confrontation, public speaking and negotiating. I have found these talents are rare qualities among most professionals.
a. I have given countless speeches to audiences ranging from ten people to three thousand people.
b. I don't mind confronting people, or calling someone and threatening them with legal consequences if they don't do what I ask.
c. I am an excellent negotiator. I have the skills to extract the most out of any negotiation mostly because I am not afraid of angering or offending people. I understand that if someone accepts your first offer, you either didn't go high enough or low enough. I also understand you want to start the negotiation so you can control the parameters of the amount of the final agreement.
4) I am excellent with contracts. I am very good at foreseeing the future legal problems of every deal and making sure those problems are addressed in the contract.

Great Entertainment lawyer
Mark deftly handled all the legal, regulation and financial issues faced by Catnip Media; I was very happy that I never had to worry about that side of the business. He was also deeply involved in operations and development. He was great at making sure that critical path tasks got completed, evens ta...
