Rightly Austen Perry

Rightly Perry brings compassion and a commitment to excellence to BD&J. Mr. Perry has extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with auto accident cases (including trucking and rideshare), slip/trip and fall, premise liability, medical malpractice, government claims, and wrongful death cases.

As a victim of a car accident himself, Mr. Perry understands the trauma associated with being injured by another’s negligence and has turned his struggle into a passion for helping clients heal. That’s why he is dedicated to providing tireless advocacy for his clients’ short- and long-term care needs. This care has earned him awards from highly respected organizations, including Super Lawyer’s Rising Star. He is a proud member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA).

Mr. Perry received his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and his J.D. from Southwestern Law School. He also served as a Board Member of Southwestern Law School’s Negotiation Honors Program. Mr. Perry was a finalist in both the National Sports Law Negotiation Competition and the National Energy Law Negotiation Competition.

Mr. Perry understands the inherent power imbalance that exists when an injured individual seeks compensation for injuries from big insurance companies, corporations, and government entities. This power dynamic, combined with Mr. Perry’s soft spot for “underdogs” and hatred for bullying, fuels his passion in representing injured individuals.
