A growing area of emphasis for Ms. Van Oorschot’s practice is helping individuals over the age of 50 deal with the realities of a divorce proceeding. After obtaining her law license and entering practice in 1994, Ms. Van Oorschot continued working for Robert K. Holmes as a family lawyer, limiting her practice exclusively to family law. While working for Robert K. Holmes she had the opportunity to be an adjunct professor for a semester at La Verne University School of Law teaching Community Property.
In October, 2001 Ms. Van Oorschot opened her own office focusing on family law and continues to limit her practice to family law matters.
